Greetings from the editors

Just in time for the start of the semester, the newsletter also gets a breath of fresh air: Angela Böhm gave us, the two research assistants at the Graduate Academy Heike Wiesner and Jenny Neukirch the honorable task of designing the September issue.
We had a lot of fun with this friendly takeover, whether in the office or online via Zoom.

Have fun reading this edition!

A great success!

On June 30, after a three-year break, the Graduate Academy finally held its summer party again. It was an entertaining evening with music, delicious snacks and stimulating conversations. A water balloon fight, in which not only the children participated, provided cooling.

We also had the pleasure of awarding the prize for "Super Supervisor 2022": We congratulate Prof.in Dr. Susan Garthus-Niegel very sincerely on this award.

Dr.-Hat-Contest

Last but not least: The winner of the Dr.-Hat-Competition had to be chosen. The choice was not easy for our guests, but after an exciting neck-and-neck race, the prize finally went to Dr.-Ing. Karim Bondoky and Dipl.-Ing. Lukas Baron. Congratulations and hats off to so much creativity!
The team of the Graduate Academy would like to thank all guests for the great summer party and is already looking forward to next year.
