ISPAD 2013 - A President's View The 39th Annual Conference of the International Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes took place from 16 – 19 October 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference was a great success and saw a record number of participants attend - 1458 in total! In total 78 countries were represented at ISPAD 2013, and participants were able to experience in 5 Plenary Sessions, 20 Symposia (including Satellite Symposia),  29 Poster Tours and 9 Oral Sessions!  Please click here to read more about the conference in the words of the ISPAD President, Stephen Greene. ISPAD 2014 - 40th Anniversary Conference - Toronto, Canada We are all looking forward meeting you at the next Annual Conference, which will be taking place in Toronto, Canada from 03 - 06 September 2014! Online registration as well as the online abstract submission system will be available in mid-January 2014. PETCA/PETCWA Tutoring in Africa We still have some slots for tutors for the two African Pediatric Endocrinology/Diabetes Training Centers in Lagos and Nairobi. This great experience includes a stay of 2 weeks in one of the centers and teach highly motivated endocrinology and diabetes fellows. Tutors should be ISPAD members, having attended at least one ISPAD Annual Conference.
