News 05/2018 – 42 Young Scientists to Present Their Research at #LINO18

Less than four weeks to go until the 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting dedicated to physiology and medicine will finally begin. We are delighted to announce that the new German Federal Minister of Education and Research, Anja Karliczek, will give an address during the opening ceremony.

We are also excited that 42 young scientists will present their research during Poster Sessions, Poster Flashes or Master Classes at the 68th Lindau Meeting. They will get the unique opportunity to receive feedback on their work from Nobel Laureates and other participants. As part of the increasing alumni involvement, Lindau Alumni were invited to peer review the many applications for these popular sessions. In total, the Lindau Meetings had received a record 380 poster applications this year, and more than 180 young scientists had applied for Master Classes.

All the best,
